Augusta Gun Works and Forge

Full-time gun maker and horner working in Central Virginia. My son Aaron joined the business this year doing forge work, particularly knives, which adds his considerable talents. We do custom and spec-work and can be seen at the Fort Frederick Market Fair, Martin's Station and Fort Loudon in Tennessee each year.

We have added hunting pouches to our list of artwork we offer. I like simple Appalachian bags made from bark tanned deer hide. Mine are usually not lined or lined with buckskin rather than fabric like linen. I will post some from time to time.

Starting in 2020 we plan to start producing longhunter clothing; shirts, french fly breeches, waistcoats and leggins.

We have added Augusta Living History as our marketing arm. Augusta Gun Works and Forge will produce our products but they will be sold under Augusta Living History for here on.
