Shop Standard Fowler - Built as a colonial version of an English fowler differentiated by American sideplate rather than the typical serpentine plate found on British fowlers. It has a 38" Colerain 20 gauge octagon to round barrel with a wedding band at the transition, a Chambers Early Ketland lock with the plate modified with beveled edges as appropriate, soft yellow brass hardware and a sugar maple stock with nice flame figuring in the butt stock area. The shorter barrel lends itself to still hunting in thick cover or carrying on horseback. I am asking $1500.00.
