Here is another "Wilderness Rifle" I made.  I is meant to be a copy of no particular piece but my idea of what a guy in what is now Tennessee might have carried to Kings Mountain or against the Cherokee before and during the Revolution.  It has a 44" 54 caliber C-wt Rice swamped barrel, the Chambers Colonial VA. flint lock, forged iron hardware, a nice piece of sugar maple from Wayne Dunlap and has been antiqued.

I have made many of these style long rifles over the years and enjoy making and shooting them.  I usually use single triggers since I mostly hunt as opposed to target shoot my guns but put doubles on this one.  They are the Davis small kit.
